Japanese OPSEC and the Hard-Worker

Abstract

In the Japanese Self-Defense Force, information leaks on the web through file-sharing software that is infected by a computer worm have happened one after another. Why did defense force workers use their privately owned computers in the work place? Why did they take their work home? The deterioration of Soldiers' morale in terms of Operational Security (OPSEC) and our working environment must have led to these incidents. In this paper, I will discuss these incidents and how better ethics should be advocated.
