Abstract

This Special Bibliography Series, Number 114, U.S.- India Relations: Partners in Democracy, was developed by the McDermott Library s Social Sciences Bibliographer and Reference Librarian, Frances K. Scott, in support of the 55th Academy Assembly to be held at the United States Air Force Academy, 3-5 February 2014. Most items cited in the bibliography are included in the McDermott Library s collections, including on-line databases. This year s topic will focus on America s relationship with India. The subject is of deep interest to both the United States military and policy makers. Relations between the United States and India have emerged as one of the most important global relationships in the 21st Century. This year s Assembly will examine the implications of India s ascension in terms of the United States foreign, economic, and military policy.
