Interactions of Waves, Tidal Currents and Riverine Outflow and their Effects on Sediment Transport (RIVET II)

Abstract

Developing a robust coastal modeling system to study the dynamics of tidally-pulsed river plume and the resulting trapping, storage and resuspension of sediments in a wavedominated environment. The model can be further used to interpret water column and seabed dynamics using the observed surface features through remote-sensing.
