Laser Induced Patterning of Transparent Ceramics and Metallic Thin Films for Photonic and Sensing Applications

Abstract

We developed novel laser processing of materials studies and techniques. Based on these we achieved demostration of waveguides forming on transparent polycrystalline ceramics. Also, we demonstrated the formation of metallic oxides by very fast delivery of ultra low energy femtosecond laser pulses. Apart of scientific publications, we issued patent applications.
