Breast Cancer Epidemiology in Puerto Rico

Abstract

This report provides evidence that the recruitment and data collection phase has been developing successfully. The work between mentor institution, minority institution, physician and the project agency sponsoring has been effective. The project staff has participated in several scientific activities to presented preliminary data of the Breast Cancer Epidemiology Study (ATABEY). Also the project staff has written and submitted letters of intent, a pre-proposals and a full proposal to different funding agencies.
