cWorks - Corrosion Control System (Briefing charts)

Abstract

cWorks is a disciplined process to select corrosion resistant systems. Relative Corrosion Index (RCI) is calculated using the parameters that make up a material system. With cWorks, corrosion-based inspection intervals on existing aircraft can be determined and inserted into existing maintenance plan. In the design phase, corrosion risk items can be identified and mitigated before they occur.
