Army-Marine Corps Logistics Integration: Is Current Doctrine, Training and Education Sufficient to Develop Joint Logisticians?

Abstract

A significant gap in the doctrine, publications, training and educational opportunities for Marine Corps logisticians impedes their ability to operate effectively in the joint logistics environment. Service and joint publications must be created to provide the tactics, techniques, and procedures for joint logistics, improved training and education opportunities to provide joint logistics knowledge and concepts, as well as an institutional focus and support for the professional development of joint logisticians.
