Different Generations and the Challenge of Leadership - Does it Matter?

Abstract

Different generations are a leadership challenge. Given the different generations in the workplace today and how they view the world, leaders need to understand the differences so that they can use them to ensure the mission - whatever that may be -- is accomplished. The leader's responsibility is to motivate those within a unit to accomplish the mission. Understanding, recognizing, and embracing how the different generations view the world arround them will assist leaders at every level in leading their people.
