Piezoelectric Non-linear Nanomechanical Temperature and Acceleration Intensive Clocks (PENNTAC)

Abstract

During Phase II our team has tackled the main challenges related to the demonstration of low noise and high-frequency miniaturized aluminum nitride (AlN)-based frequency sources. Given the Phase I demonstration by our team, we have especially focused on understanding the noise sources in our oscillators and identifying new methods to evade phase noise.
