Abstract

The goal of this project is to develop an Evidence-based Clinical Decision Support System (CDSSEBM) available at the point of care which will improve prognostication of life expectancy of terminally ill patients and facilitate the hospice referral process. In addition, the CDSS-EBM will be expanded with an evidence based pain management module (EB-PMM) to assist physicians managing patients with pain.
