Transforming Concepts for the Marine Corps Individual Mobilization Augmentation Program

Abstract

The Marine Corps IMA program is substantially underperforming in its potential to provide reserve manpower augmentation to the active component. The underlying cause is a disparity between billet requirements and reserve manpower demographics. Low cost program innovations could overcome the disparity and enable it to provide greater manpower support to the active component.
