Abstract

This Integrated Section 203 Navigation Study Report & Final Environmental Assessment analyzes the feasibility and potential environmental consequences of implementing improvements to the existing Federal navigation project at Canaveral Harbor, Florida. The recommended plan consists of widening plus deepening, which more specifically includes widening the main ship channel from 400 feet to 500 feet, expanding the West Turning Basin turning circle from 1,400 feet to 1,725 feet, and deepening channel segments.
