Context and Content Aware Routing of Managed Information Objects

Abstract

Under this project, we developed (a) a crossbar simulator for the AFRL trusted router project and (b) a high-performance publish/subscribe system. An early version of the simulator was validated using publish throughput data and the simulator was then modified to conform to the assumptions of the AFRL trusted router crossbar. The publish/subscribe system was benchmarked against the state-of-the-art system BE-Tree and delivered a speedup between 1.16 and 11.26. Our system is also able to handle more general subscriptions and events.
