Advanced Control Techniques with Fuzzy Logic

Abstract

Research on the Fuzzy Logic control algorithm focused on improving the accuracy of applied thermal loads in structural validation programs. The algorithm allows for compensation of nonlinear thermal radiation transfer. The fuzzy logic algorithm response was compared with the response of the existing algorithm. Results showed significant thermal control accuracy improvement for metallic articles, and moderate improvement for nonmetallic (graphite) articles.
