SCATHA/SC3 Data Processing and Cross-Calibration with LANL-GEO/CPA for AE9 Development

Abstract

This report summarizes processing and cross calibration of electron data from the Spacecraft Charging AT High Altitudes (SCATHA) SC3 spectrometer for use in the AE9 radiation belt model. The processed and cleaned data were cross calibrated with four LANL GEO satellites. Identification of conjunctions and results for cross calibration factors and residual errors are provided. The data used in this report are from 1979 to 1989.
