Organic Perfluorohalogenate Salts; New Energetic Materials

Abstract

The objective of this research project is to develop a new class of energetic materials comprised of an organic fuel (i.e NH4+) paired with a strong oxidizing perfluorohalogenate anion (i.e. BrF4-). New EM compounds will be synthesized, fully characterized and evaluated for counter-CBW applications.
