'Aha Huliko'a Workshop Series
Abstract
The goal of the workshop series is to review the state-of-the-art, to identify areas of ignorance, and to make recommendations for future research on a topic or topics relevant to the Office of Naval Research. The subject of the 2007 workshop was Extreme Events. The participants were tasked to review observations of extreme events, identify the physical processes that lead to them, and assess their probability and predictability.
