Abstract

This Coastal and Hydraulics Engineering Technical Note (ERDC/CHETN) presents the Inlet, Nearshore, and Littoral Enhancement Tool for Geographic Information Systems (INLETGIS) and describes a methodology for an objective, rapid inlet shoal and channel analysis through classification schemes using aerial photography and the INLETGIS extension for ArcView 3.x Geographic Information System (GIS).
