Abstract

By Department of the Army letter (ANNEX A), an Ad Hoc Committee was appointed to ascertain the Army's need for the study of military history. This committee was directed to "determine the extent of that need, particularly in relation to the study of military history by commissioned officers and key civilian personnel, and develop recommendations on how any unfulfilled needs can be met."
