Military Government

Abstract

This manual is a restatement of the principles, policies, and functions of military government. It conforms substantially to the subject matter of Field Manual 27-5, Civil Affairs/Military Government. Teaching experience at the Command and General Staff College has demonstrated the need for a military government text which brings together all pertinent data concerning each military government function and which sets forth in uniform style the part played by each element of the Army in performing each military government function.
