Electrical and Structural Properties Study of Layered Dielectric and Magnetic Composites and Blends Structures for RF and Microwave Applications

Abstract

In this work the magnetic and dielectric properties of ceramic-ceramic and ceramic-polymer composites with BiNb04, SrBi2Nb209 (SBN), BaBi4Ti4015 (BBT), Na2Nb4011(NNO), Sr2CoNb06 (SCN) and ferrites BaFel 2019 and Y3Fe5012 {YIG) was studied for R.F and microwave applications. New configurations of magnetic-dielectric composites and blends structures for high frequency applications was done. A new method for the measurement of the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (rl), is presented. The traditional method (based on the Courtney method) present some limitations of measuring the values of rf, for samples with high dielectric loss.
