Crowdsourced Decision Support for Emergency Responders (Briefing Charts)

Abstract

Real-time citizen interaction is transforming crisis response. Social media (e.g., Facebook, Twitter) provide natural avenue for citizen engagement with law enforcement / emergency management during a crisis. Social media can support real-time collaboration. Simulation test of citizen participation in crisis response is proposed.
