A Review of the Recent Scientific Literature on Irrigation Induced and Enhanced Wetlands

Abstract

The following report provides a preliminary review of the recent scientific literature pertaining to the ecology and management of irrigation induced and enhanced wetlands. The report is designed to provide insight into the complexity of identifying irrigated wetlands for jurisdictional purposes, outline the current state-of-the-science regarding irrigated wetlands, and provide basic guidance on future actions required to address issues related to irrigated wetlands.
