Final Supplemental Environmental Assessment: Demolish Wherry Housing Units

Abstract

Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field have been identified as having a surplus of Military Family Housing (MFH) dwelling units. This was determined by the Housing Requirements Market Analysis (HRMA) completed in August 2006. The approved HRMA determines the installation s housing requirement. Once surplus housing units are identified, the installation must develop a disposal plan using a methodical and phased approach to reduce and consolidate family housing. In order to meet this disposal requirement, the Wherry MFH units located on Eglin Main Base have been selected for demolition.
