Final Environmental Assessment, Military Family Housing Privatization at Arnold AFB, Tennessee

Abstract

Arnold Air Force Base (Arnold AFB) has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) February 2009 that evaluates the potential environmental and socioeconomic impacts associated with the privatization of Military Family Housing (MFH) at Arnold AFB. MFH is currently owned, operated, and managed by Arnold AFB. The Proposed Action is to evaluate the effects of privatizing MFH, which includes the transfer of management and operations to a private sector project owner (PO) through a 50-year lease.
