Lightweight Portable Plasma Medical Device - Plasma Engineering Research Laboratory

Abstract

We have established a state-of-the-art plasma research facility which is capable of conducting various interdisciplinary research projects. We have completed the setup of DC RBD plasma system, 13.56 MHz RF DBD plasma system, laser induced breakdown plasma system, plasma shadowgraphy system and optical emission spectroscopy diagnostics, two color laser interferometry diagnostics. We have completed the design and construction of the portable plasma source. We have made significant progress in testing and characterization and biological testing of the portable plasma source and the research will be continued to make progress.
