Measurement of Forces and Moments Transmitted to the Residual Limb

Abstract

The goal of the research is to develop instrumentation that can be attached directly to the pylon of a prosthesis to measure the forces and moments at the base of the socket and to use these measurements to estimate the forces transmitted to the residual limb.
