Modeling the Impact of Extreme Events on Margin Sedimentation

Abstract

The long-term goal is to understand the mechanics of hyperpycnal flow generated from the plunging of small and medium size rivers and how these extreme events affect the transport of terrestrial sediment and how they influence the mixing processes in the coastal ocean.
