A Civilian/Military Trauma Institute: National Trauma Coordinating Center

Abstract

The purpose of this grant is to support a national coordinating center for trauma research funding, and provide a forum for dissemination of trauma research information to the trauma community. The infrastructure/process is streamlined and efficient leading to the selection of research projects based on a solid scientific, peer review of submitted research proposals. The selected research projects are well on their way to achieving their objectives. The NTI annual Trauma Symposium was held August 30 - September 1, 2010.
