AGOR 28: SIO Shipyard Representative Bi-Weekly Progress Report

Abstract

Progress on the building of AGOR 28, oceanographic research vessel Sally Ride. Work continues 1) reviewing Vendor Recommended Spares (VRS); 2) reviewing Technical Manuals and Supplemental Information; 3) work on initial outfitting lists for Sally Ride; and working on NS5 Hierarchy. Unresolved issues with fairlead interferences from TK70-70 main crane remain. No changes since last reported. DCI is using Sally Ride s aft fairlead foundation to test various new locations on Armstrong. Ride s foundation was not permanently fixed so this is acceptable.
