SGMM: Smart Grid Maturity Model. A Zero-depth Entry to Using the TSP: How TSP Was Used to Turn Around the SGMM Project that Was Drowning in Details

Abstract

The Smart Grid Maturity Model is a management tool that provides a common language and framework for defining key elements of smart grid transformation and helping utilities develop a programmatic approach and track their progress. Initially SEI used the Team Software Process (TSP) as a project management framework. Later we used TSP to develop/evolve: 1) core product (model and survey), 2) navigation and support processes, and 3) training.
