Elastic Bottom Propagation Mechanisms Investigated by Parabolic Equation Methods

Abstract

The long-term goal is to develop elastic parabolic equation (PE) method capabilities in order to study elastic propagation mechanisms and their effects on underwater acoustic environments in the form of scattering at an elastic interface, oceanic T-waves, and Scholte waves.
