ADAPTable Sensor Systems Phase 2. Topic 2: Reusable Core Software. Distributed Synchronization Software for the Sensor Nodes

Abstract

The ADAPT program seeks to improve military ability to adapt sensor systems by leveraging commercial development -- using commercial manufacturing techniques and technologies. Spiral development programs focus on reusing common core hardware and software with a design-to-cost/schedule approach. Core sensor management and networking elements in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) infrastructures systems is an area where commercial technology can be applied.
