Ka Band Channelized Receiver

Abstract

The design of a 30-channel Ka band receiver is described in detail including both the radio frequency (RF) down-conversion architecture and the digital signal processing platform to be used. The system, which is composed entirely of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components, is capable of covering 44% of the entire Ka band including the Future Combat Systems Radar and Communications Band in real time with the capability of determining the input signal spectrum location.
