Cyber and the American Way of War

Abstract

The American way of war has been discussed in literature since the concept emerged in 1973. Since that time, effects of integrating cyber activities into the concept of warfare have not been addressed surrounding the conceptualizations of the American way of war. This paper examines the current literature to create a characterization of the American way or war and then proposes how cyber will change the American way of war.
