Aging System Sustainment and Enabling Technologies (ASSET)

Abstract

With the mission of decreasing unit costs and project lead times while providing a greater number of qualified sources for the government problem parts, the Aging Systems Sustainment and Enabling Technologies contract developed a consortium of member companies with manufacturing capabilities. A total of 24 subcontract projects were awarded. Six of these were DoD high priority projects while another 13 have submitted source approval requests and are awaiting feedback.
