Abstract

a) Program Management Ongoing communication and project management with project team and sub-contractors. Ongoing outreach with medical centers (see below). Ongoing project management according to Alion s CMMI Level 3 processes. i) Focused heavily on upcoming studies at Langley Air Force Hospital (June 24-25) with additional participation from Fort Eustis. ii) Worked to secure involvement of Portsmouth Naval Hospital This has become a MAJOR risk (see below). iii) Ongoing interactions with medical representatives that were interested in or attended the SST StoryJam. StoryJam Participating organizations included: Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Langley AFB Hospital, Fort Eustis McDonald Healthcare, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Maryview Hospital, Mary Immaculate Hospital, and the Children s Hospital of the King s Daughters. b) Prototype Development Minor adjustments during Iteration 3 including missions, scenarios, and user interface. Minor adjustments to fun-facts minigame and 4th scenario mission. c) Instructional Design and Healthcare Research Minimal updates of scenario materials to ensure gameplay, scenarios, and conversations match terminal learning objective: Facilitate Psychological Safety. d) Research Studies MAJOR preparation for studies which are scheduled for June 24-25 at Langley. Refined measurement outlines for continued studies. Finalizing IRB plans.
