A Finescale Lagrangian Instrument System

Abstract

A long range goal of my research is to understand the processes that control diapycnal mixing in the ocean \201with particular emphasis on the mixing supported by internal wave breaking\202, and the consequences of that mixing for the ocean's general circulation.
