Support of Acoustic Measurements in Geologic Clutter

Abstract

The long-term goal is to characterize the nature of low- to mid- frequency acoustic reverberation data relative to specific geologic features mapped in the New Jersey Shelf STRATAFORM area leading to the fundamental knowledge of the causes of clutter in low and mid frequency monostatic and multistatic sonar systems.
