NOWCAST/FORECAST System for Coastal/Open Ocean Regions

Abstract

The long-term goal is to develop and evaluate a nowcast/forecast system for coastal/open ocean regions with the Hybrid Coordinate Ocean Model (HYCOM). To make HYCOM a truly all-purpose generalized coordinate ocean model that can be used in all ocean environment.
