Convectively Driven Mean-flows in Partially Enclosed Seas

Abstract

The long-term goal is to understand, through laboratory experimentation, the dynamical processes that are responsible for the density and velocity structure of partially enclosed seas, i.e., those with a restricted connection to a larger, effectively infinite, reservoir.
