Abstract

This study contributes to our long-term efforts toward understanding: - Processes governing exchanges between the shelf and deep ocean. - Strongly forced mesoscale dynamics. - Processes that communicate atmospheric forcing to the ocean interior. - Use of dynamical understanding to improve performance of shallow water analysis products.
