Molecular Imaging and Therapy of Prostate Cancer

Abstract

Our objective is to develop an arsenic-based radiopharmaceutical platform for IGF1R-targeted imaging and therapy of PCa. The hypothesis is that arsenic-based, IGF1R-targeted radiopharmaceuticals can allow for PET imaging, IRT, and monitoring the therapeutic response of PCa. Specific Aims: Aim 1: To optimize the production of arsenic isotopes and develop/perfect the labeling chemistry. Aim 2: To quantitatively measure IGF1R expression in PCa models with PET imaging. Aim 3: To monitor the efficacy of 76As-based IRT of PCa with multimodality imaging.
