Effects of Cumulus Convection on Rapidly Intensifying Cyclones

Abstract

Our long term goal is to contribute to our understanding of the physics and dynamics of marine convection and mesoscale weather systems. Of particular interest are the processes in the development of cloud drop size distribution, the structures and evolution of marine cyclones, tropical cloud clusters and hurricanes.
