Environmental Assessment for US 98 (SR 30) at the Entrance to Hurlburt Field

Abstract

Pursuant to the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) regulations for implementing procedural provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) ( 40 Code of Federal Regulations [CFR] 1500-1508), and the U.S. Air Force's Environmental Impact Analysis Process (EIAP) as effectuated by 32 CFR Part 989, Okaloosa County with support from the Air Force, Hurlburt Field, and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has conducted an Environmental Assessment (EA) to identify and assess probable environmental consequences for the construction and operation of a proposed new interchange at U.S. Highway 98/State Road (SR) 30 and Cody A venue intersection located at the main gate entrance to Hurlburt Field in Okaloosa County, Florida. The EA is incorporated by reference into this finding.
