Environmental Assessment of the Beach Area Enhancements Hurlburt Field, Florida

Abstract

Hurlburt Field proposes to expand and enhance facilities at an existing beach area on Santa Rosa Sound that is a popular recreation area for base personnel. In accordance with Title 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 989, Environmental Impact Analysis Process (EIAP), and the President's Council on Environmental Quality regulations for implementing the procedural provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEP A) ( 40 CFR 1500-1508), the attached environmental assessment (EA) provides analyses of potential environmental consequences that could result from construction and use of the proposed facilities.
