Environmental Assessment for Demolition of Building 2148 and Construction of a New Facility

Abstract

The Air-to-Surface Munitions Directorate (WM) at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) is required by the Air Force (HQAF) to sustain the AGM-130 and GBU-15 family of weapon systems. The Air Force is proposing to transfer the Precision Strike System Program Office (SPO) from Eglin AFB, Florida to HAFB, Utah. To mirror current SPO capabilities, the WM Directorate requires a suitable facility to incorporate current depot maintenance functions (i.e., explosives maintenance) in support of the weapons systems.
