Final Environmental Assessment For the Construction and Operation of a Fire Training Facility

Abstract

An Environmental Assessment (EA) has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the National Environmental Pol icy Act of 1969, the Council on Environmental Quality regulations, and implementing regulations set forth in 32 CFR 989 (Environmental Impact Analysis Process), as amended, to analyze a United States Air Force (USAF) proposal to construct and operate a commercial, pre-fabricated 608-square-foot Fire Training Facility (FTF) at the location of the existing FTF at Clear Air Force Station (AFS), Alaska.
