Offutt AFB Construct STRATCOM Gate Environmental Assessment

Abstract

The Air Force has proposed to construct a POV inspection area, canopy, over-watch, and gate house and also realign the wad and install vehicle containment at the USSTRATCOM gate to meet the requirements of UFC 4-022-01- Entry Control Facilities. Renovating the current gate and alternative designs were considered in addition to the proposed action and no-action alternative. The no-action alternative would maintain the gate in its current state. The no-action alternative would not result in any harm to the environment, but Offutt AFB would be non-compliant with Air Force standards concerning DoD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per Unified Facility Criteria.
