Abstract

The water resource development program of the Corps of Engineers includes the preauthorization investigation, planning, funding, construction, maintenance, and operation of works for navigation, flood control, and multiple-purpose water resource uses authorized by law. The first volume of my report gives a summary of accomplishments, activities, and future trends. The second volume sets forth detailed fiscal, engineering, and statistical data.
